In our anniversary year 2026, we are delighted to offer our guests complimentary group transfers – from Klagenfurt and Ljubljana airports, as well as from the railway stations in Velden, Villach and Klagenfurt.
Please note: In the event of delays or arrivals after 10:00 p.m., additional charges may apply. If you prefer an exclusive private transfer, the regular rates as listed in our tariff apply. Should you require this option, please indicate it when making your reservation.

AIRCRAFT
For guests travelling from the UK, several direct flights are available. The recommended airport for reaching the Original Mayr Medical Resort is Ljubljana, offering the most convenient connections and located just around one hour from the resort.
There are also direct flights from London Stansted to Klagenfurt. Additional routes operate via Vienna, with regular connecting flights to Klagenfurt.
Our reservations team will be happy to advise you personally on the most suitable travel options.
CAR
Take the road along the southern shore of Lake Wörthersee. The distance from Klagenfurt is about 15 km and from Velden about 8 km.

Velden central station: 8 km / approx. 13 min

Preparation
FOR FASTING
Get your body and mind prepared for the new rhythm a week before you arrive.
We have some information to help make your introduction to the Mayr cure as pleasant as possible:
In preparation for your stay at the Original Mayr Resort, we advise you to reduce your consumption of coffee, black tea, alcohol, sugar and cigarettes as much as possible.
With our programme of activities, such as morning exercise, hiking or bike rides, it is easy to be active.
Please bring suitable clothing:
- Exercise clothes and trainers
- leisure and swimming clothes
- hiking boots
- outdoor clothing and rainwear
During the day we recommend light sports clothes, for the evenings, comfortable leisure clothes.
