Shiatsu is much more than a classic massage. It is a form of therapeutic bodywork that dates back to ancient Japan. “Shiatsu” translates as “finger pressure.” During your treatment, the therapist uses kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping and stretching techniques. The effect may be stimulating and invigorating or calming and sedative, depending on the goal of the session.
